This one-day workshop guides you through the process of creating a contemporary painting.

It's a great way to experience a variety of painting techniques in a quick, fun way and is perfect for people with NO painting or drawing experience.

The first part is a fast-paced wild-ride with no rules! You'll play with LOTS of different media and explore them with crazy abandon!

The second part covers simple design principles to help you create a painting which allows some parts of your artistic frenzy to peek through.

All you need is a sense of humour, a willingness to learn and the ability to make LOTS of happy mistakes!

Time: 10am - 5pm'ish
Cost:  $300 (a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to secure your place. You can transfer your place to a friend if you're unable to attend on the day).
Materials: All art materials are provided including a 16 x 20 inches (approx 40 x 50cm) canvas - you're welcome to bring a larger canvas if you want to work at a larger scale, tea and coffee, a glass of bubbles & a cheese platter, BYO lunch.
